Patrick Murray, CFP® co-founded Key Group Management, Inc in 1996 and serves as President of the firm. Patrick's educational background includes graduating from Villanova University. In addition, he was awarded the Certified Financial Planner™ after completing the required coursework. Pat has also earned the ChFC® designation from the American College.
Pat's 33 year career began in 1984 while working for E.F. Hutton on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Pat's previous work experience also included working on the Fixed Income Trading Desk for Paine Webber in New York and Los Angeles. Pat's desire to assist individuals and families with life planning decisions led him to become a Financial Advisor in 1996. His previous securities registrations include the Registered Options Principal, General Securities Representative, General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, and the series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser. Pat resides in Scottsdale, Arizona along with his wife and 4 children.
Colin Heafy
201-236-9696Colin is the co founder and principal of The Key Group Inc. and received his degree in Economics from Villanova University. The Key Group Inc. was founded in 1996 by both Colin and Patrick. Prior to 1996, Colin served as an Assistant Vice President of Investments with Paine Webber, Inc. His career began with Paine Webber in 1990 as a Managed Account Liaison in Weehawken, NJ before becoming an Investment Executive in 1992.
Colin's previous experience has included working for the New York Stock Exchange as a floor page, with Dean Witter Reynolds in New York City as a Government Margin Clerk and with Drexel Burnham Lambent as a Marketing Assistant.
His registration qualifications include FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 53 Municipal Securities Principal and Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Exam.
Colin serves on the Dean's Advisory Council for Villanova University's College of Professional Studies.
Anthony Cioffari

Anthony has been a financial advisor since 1986 and holds series 7, 63, and 65 registrations. Anthony has advised many high-net worth professionals over the years and has developed an expertise in the financial challenges they face during their careers. As a result of their hard work, these clients have accumulated wealth, but the demands of long hours leave them little time to adequately manage their investments or properly prepare for the future. With more than 30 years of experience, Anthony is a trusted and respected advisor who has developed long term relationships with his clients. He provides personal and business asset management along with financial, retirement and legacy planning. Anthony is also extremely knowledgeable in the arena of fixed income products. Prior to joining Key Group in 2005, he worked as a high net worth financial advisor with Wachovia Securities for 5 years. He was employed as a corporate finance analyst from 1990-2000 at a small privately owned investment bank where he worked on valuation and pricing models pre-IPO evaluations. During this time he was also an integral part of the institutional sales team. Anthony lives locally with his wife Maryann a CPA and 3 college aged children.
Tim Conboy
Tim Conboy received his Bachelors Degree in Finance and Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Through his college years he interned as a Investment Advisor Assistant at Shearson Lehman Bros. Upon graduation, Tim secured a position at Drexel Burnham Lambert as a Advisor Trainee. Through acquisition of Drexel, he graduated to Financial Advisor with Smith Barney. After a successful three years as a top rookie with Smith Barney, Tim was recruited by Paine Webber. He spent the next eleven years building his practice at UBS, who was the acquirer of Paine Webber in the late Nineties. In his tenure at UBS, Tim was head of Equity Research Sales for his branch in Paramus NJ . He also obtained his Life and Health Insurance licenses in both New York and New Jersey as well as becoming an Investment Representative designation while at UBS. Now, as part of the Key Group Asset Management team, Tim incorporates his extensive twenty plus years experience in the securities and investment industry, with the value added insurance knowledge and capability. The cornerstone of Tim's practice is to offer the complete Financial Planning package in an effort to meet his clients objectives.
Michael McMane
Michael McMane has been a Financial Professional with Key Group Management, Inc. since 1999. He earned his Business Administrations degree at Bloomsburg University. He began his career on Wall Street with Shearson Lehman Hutton in 1988 and trained in the World Trade Center. Michael provides investment strategies and financial investment for families, individuals, and businesses. Michael lives in Livingston, NJ with his wife Michele and has three sons. He is a former President of The Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Board Member on the West Essex YMCA Board of Directors. Michael is also a volunteer College Recruiter for Bloomberg University and on their International Alumni Board.
His FINRA registrations include Series 7 & 63.
Sean Beaton
Sean Beaton proudly earned his Master's Degree with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2020, during the challenging year of COVID-19. He achieved this milestone while working in his first career in the logistics and transportation sector. After retiring from that career in 2022, he dedicated himself full-time to his passion for tax accounting, having worked in both logistics and part-time in tax accounting and finance since 2016.
He has been with Key Group Management, Inc. since the winter of 2021 and serves as tax manager. The Internal Revenue Service has licensed him as an Enrolled Agent, requiring him to demonstrate competence in taxation matters before being granted the ability to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Additionally, he is recognized by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and the Arizona Board of Accountancy as a National and Jurisdictional CPA Candidate. He has fulfilled the Master’s level requirement of 150 credit hours of education and 2,000 hours of experience. To attain full licensure, Sean needs to complete the final requirement, which is to demonstrate his skills on the Uniform CPA Examination.
Sean resides in Chandler and has an adult son and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums in a local band and visiting his children in Texas and California.
