Financial Services
Financial counseling forms the cornerstone of our integrated services for
individuals and families. The financial counselor responsible for a relationship
begins by analyzing the client's financial circumstances, clarifying investment
goals, and discussing the balance between the risks the client can tolerate
and the rewards desired. A strategy that addresses specific investment objectives
is developed while adjusting for other important assets the client may own,
including real estate, interests in private companies and large holdings
of low-cost-basis stock. The needs of current and future members of the
family, as well as the reduction of taxes generated by portfolio returns,
are given careful consideration. The financial counselor constantly works
with the other members of THE KEY GROUP team involved in the relationship
to provide efficient and coordinated services to clients.
Once a plan is in place, the financial counselor works
closely with our portfolio managers to coordinate financial services. Investments may include both internally and externally
managed alternatives. Over time, the counselor monitors to assure that it remains on target, making adjustments to accommodate
changing needs or new market conditions.
